Stone 2 — lab-grown emerald: a pear-cut, about 6.0×8.0 mm and 1.0 carat, in rich green. This is a lab-grown (lab-created) emerald — the same green beryl mineral as mined emerald (Mohs 7.5–8), grown ethically for vivid color; like all emeralds it can be a little brittle.
