Rings carry more meaning per gram than anything else people wear. A band marks a promise, an anniversary, a person you lost, a year you got through — and it does it in a circle small enough to forget you have on. Aquamarise makes over two thousand of them, from $80 sterling silver bands to made-to-order solid gold, and almost none of them look like what you would find in a mall case. This is the whole catalog; the sections below are the fastest routes into it.

Rings for women: engagement, wedding & promise

Three moments account for most ring buying, and they run in sequence. A promise ring comes first — worn on any finger, meaning whatever the two of you decide it means. Then the proposal, where our catalog leans hard into the unconventional: unique engagement rings, gemstone engagement rings and alternative engagement rings for anyone who never wanted a round white solitaire. Then the ceremony itself, in women’s wedding bands and wedding ring sets. After that come the years, marked in anniversary rings.

Gold rings, silver rings & vermeil

Metal decides both how a ring reads and what it costs. Solid 925 sterling is 92.5% silver alloyed with 7.5% copper — the copper is what makes it hard enough to wear daily, and it is where sterling silver rings get their value. Gold splits three ways by tone: browse everything in gold rings, or go straight to rose gold rings for the blush that copper gives. Between silver and solid sits vermeil — a genuine sterling base carrying at least 2.5 microns of 10K or better gold, the threshold the US FTC actually enforces — in sterling silver & vermeil jewelry. When it needs to outlive you, solid gold rings are 14K throughout, made to order.

Moissanite, diamond & gemstone rings

The stone is where a ring stops being generic. Moissanite rings sit at Mohs 9.25 — harder than sapphire, and brighter than diamond by refractive index — which is why they carry so much of our engagement range in moissanite engagement rings. For color, gemstone rings covers the full spread, and birthstone jewelry sorts it by month. The stones we are actually known for are the ones that never repeat: moss agate, salt-and-pepper diamond, rutilated quartz. Buying the stone alone is possible too, in loose gemstones and loose lab-grown diamonds.

Men’s rings & gender neutral bands

Men’s ring buying runs on material more than style — tungsten and Damascus for durability, gold for occasion. Start at men’s rings & wedding bands, then narrow to tungsten, gold, black or sterling silver. Designs meant to read well on any hand are gathered in gender neutral rings, and two-person sets in couples rings.

Everyday & stackable rings

Not every ring needs to commemorate something. Slim bands built to be worn three and four at a time live in stackable rings, with the styling side — anchor bands, odd numbers, mixing metals — in stacking rings. If you would rather skip the browsing entirely, best selling rings is what everyone else already chose.

Rings FAQs

What metals are Aquamarise rings made in?

Genuine 925 sterling silver, 14K gold vermeil over sterling, and made-to-order solid 14K gold and platinum. Browse sterling silver rings, gold rings and solid gold rings.

What is 925 sterling silver?

An alloy of 92.5% pure silver with 7.5% other metals, usually copper, which supplies the hardness pure silver lacks. It is the international standard for fine silver jewelry — see sterling silver rings and sterling silver jewelry.

What is gold vermeil and how is it different from plating?

Vermeil requires a genuine 925 sterling base and at least 2.5 microns of 10K or higher gold under the US FTC standard. Ordinary plating has no such minimum and is usually applied over base metal. Browse vermeil jewelry, yellow gold and rose gold jewelry.

How much do rings cost?

Sterling silver rings start from around $80. Vermeil sits above that, and made-to-order solid gold is the top of the range. Filter by price in rings or start from best sellers.

Which ring is right for a proposal?

Most buyers begin at unique engagement rings or gemstone engagement rings. If a formal engagement is not the step yet, a promise ring is the conventional choice.

Which gemstones are hard enough for daily wear?

Diamond (Mohs 10), moissanite (9.25) and sapphire (9) handle daily wear without special care. Quartz-family stones such as moss agate sit near 7 and last longest in a protective setting — see gemstone rings.

What is the difference between moissanite and diamond?

Moissanite is silicon carbide, diamond is carbon. Moissanite has a higher refractive index, so it returns more visible fire, at a fraction of the price. Compare in moissanite engagement rings and loose lab-grown diamonds.

Do you make men’s rings?
Can I buy matching rings for two people?

Yes. Couples rings covers matching and complementary pairs, and wedding ring sets handles engagement-plus-band pairings.

What is a birthstone ring?

A ring set with the stone assigned to a birth month — garnet for January through blue zircon and tanzanite for December. Shop by month in birthstone jewelry, or stack one per person using stackable rings.

Are rings available in solid gold?

Yes, made to order in 14K, which is 58.5% pure gold (stamped 585). See solid gold rings, or white gold for the cool-toned alternative.

Which rings work for everyday wear?

Low-profile bands with flush or bezel-set stones take knocks best. Stackable rings and gender neutral rings are built for it, and stacking rings covers wearing several at once.
